Scan and retention settings

Time-based scans

The scan frequency defaults to 60 minutes and cannot be set below the safe minimum. Since time-based rules use day thresholds, shorter scans usually add load without a meaningful benefit.

The per-status batch size limits how many orders each scan examines. If more orders qualify, later scans continue the work. Increase it gradually on a large store and monitor scheduled actions and database load.

Public holidays

Enter one YYYY-MM-DD date per line. Rules counting business days skip these dates as well as weekends. Dates use the WordPress site timezone, and invalid lines are ignored when settings are saved.

Observation and audit retention

Retention controls live in Settings rather than separate admin pages. Recent observations default to 200 retained rows and can be bounded from 25 to 2,000. Audit retention is bounded by both age and maximum rows; saving tighter limits prunes existing records immediately. Cleanup removes history, not changes already made to orders.
