Laqi Product Data Checks documentation
Start here to install the plugin, run your first scan, and understand what the findings mean.
Reviewed 2026-09-11
Laqi Product Data Checks scans your catalogue and reports the products that are configured in a way that will fail or cost money at fulfilment, such as a physical product with no weight, a variation with nothing to inherit, a published product with no price.
The normal workflow is scan, review, fix or dismiss. The Pro add-on adds a fourth step: stopping the next one being published at all.
Install
- Install and activate Laqi Product Data Checks. WooCommerce must be active first. The plugin declares it as a requirement and will not activate without it.
- Open WooCommerce → Product Data Checks.
- Press Scan now.
The scan runs in the background, so you can leave the page. Reload it to see progress.
What you get
- Fifteen checks, all free, covering weights, dimensions, shipping classes, prices, SKUs, images, GTINs, stock and product type mistakes.
- Findings grouped by check, then by product. A product with two hundred variations missing a weight is one row, not two hundred.
- Dismissal, so a finding you have judged stops coming back.
- Per-check toggles and category scoping, so a check that does not apply to how you work can be switched off or narrowed.
What the Pro add-on adds
- Enforcement at publish, per check.
- Bulk fixing from a check’s own list, where the check has a safe fix.
- Scheduled scans with an emailed digest of what is new.
- CSV export of the open findings.
Pro is a separate plugin that installs alongside this one. It cannot run without it, and removing it leaves every finding and setting exactly where they were.
Follow the whole thing once
- Start-to-finish demo takes one catalogue from its first scan through fixing, dismissing, and scoping findings, then into enforcement, bulk fixing, export, and scheduled scans.
